Makaira Venture Partners is lead by the management team of Michael Benoit and Steven Tallarida. Over the last ten years we’ve invented, founded, clinically proven, grown, invested and successfully exited medical device opportunities. We have experience in a wide range of areas including; cardiovascular, oncology, orthopedic and gastrointestinal with surgical and therapeutic devices.
Michael Benoit brings with him financial, operational and business development skills while Steven Tallarida, as President of STD Med, a leading medical device OEM manufacturer and incubator, commands the attention of a wide range of resources for our companies. Our diverse range of experiences and resources enable us to support the management of our companies, both technically and operationally. A winning combination.
